But some movies despite being hated and full of negative comments by critics, made pretty big box office collection and turns out to be hit.
22. Half Girlfriend (2017)
Based on Chetan Bhagat's famous novel "Half Girlfriend", Movie failed to impress audience on box office, hardly covering the making cost of movie.
21. Haseena Parkar (2017)
Haseena Parkar is an Indian biographical movie, based on Dawood Ibrahim's sister Haseena Parkar. But the movie's story failed to show any insight into Haseena's life instead seen more focused on her identity as Dawood's sister. Haseena Parkar's box office collection was half of what it was spent on making the movie.
20. Raabta (2017)
Raabta movie was a total disaster, not only story wise but also commercially. Movie got into 2 plagiarism cases before releasing. First: the story itself was a total copy of telugu movie Magadheera, for which Magadheera's producer Allu Aravind send legal notice to Raabta makers, however the courts ruled in favor of Raabta makers. Second: remaking of J-star's song "main tera boyfriend" without even asking him. On top of all this movie was unable to cover it's making cost.
19. Tubelight (2017)
Tubelight was total disaster story wise and in critic reviews but economically it was a blockbuster. Movie's box office collection was ₹211 crore which is double of it's making amount of whopping ₹100 crores. and it was the eighth-highest-grossing Bollywood in 2017. All this only because of Salman Khan's popularity in Bollywood.
18. Chandni Chowk to China (2009)
Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk to China movie got mixed reviews from critics but movie earned ₹120 crores at box office, which made it the third highest grossing bollywood movie of that year.
17. Noor (2017)
Noor is comedy drama film based on Pakistani author Saba Imtiaz's novel Karachi, "You're Killing Me!", and it proved to be disaster on Box office with total earning of ₹11 crore, half of the movie's budget.
16. Son Of Sardar (2012)
Son of Sardar is a action comedy film, starring Ajay Devgn and Sunakshi Sinha. Beside average critic reviews and story plot, movie crossed the ₹100 crore mark.
15. Judwaa 2 (2017)
Judwaa 2 is an action comedy movie, starring Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and tapsee pannu. Judwaa 2 was supposed to be the sequel of the 20 year old Judwaa but, if anything, it is the same exact movie. Same songs, same story and same action scenes, everything is same from the Salman Khan's 1997 Judwaa. Which made it the major hit in bollywood with box office collection of over ₹200 crore.
14. Kambakkht Ishq (2009)
Kambakkht Ishq is a romance comedy film, starring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Many famous hollywood actors like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh appeared in cameos. Kambakkht Ishq's box office collection was approx ₹84 crore.
